Monja Sieber is a lawyer in the Corporate and Commercial Law Team and the Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Competition Team. Her areas of specialisation include contract, corporate and commercial law, therapeutic products legislation and intellectual property and data protection law. A particular focus of her work lies in the areas of restructuring and insolvency law.
Born in 1992, Monja Sieber was educated at the University of Bern (BLaw 2014, MLaw 2015). During her studies, she worked as a junior research assistant at the Institute for Economic Law at the University of Bern. Afterwards she gained working experience as a law clerk at the District Court Oberland in Thun. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, Monja Sieber was first engaged as a trainee and at a later stage as a legal co-worker at a renowned law firm in Bern. She was admitted to the bar in 2018. Since 2020, she has been teaching Intellectual Property Law and Data Protection Law at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS).
Monja Sieber practices her labour in German, English and French. She is registered with the Berne Bar Registry and is admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
