Kurt Baumgartner

Attorney and Notary

Kurt Baumgartner is a counsel and notary of the Canton of Berne in the Notary Team. His main areas of practice include building, planning and environmental law, contract, corporate and commercial law, property law as well as marriage and inheritance law. Apart from giving advice in these fields of law, Kurt Baumgartner in his function as a notary also focuses on the proper notarial processing of respective transactions and on communicating with authorities.

Born in 1945, Kurt Baumgartner was educated at the University of Berne (attorney in 1971, notary in 1975) and studied mediation at the University of Fribourg. He has been working as a practising attorney and notary since 1978. Before joining Marco Strahm Notariat, Kurt Baumgartner was a counsel in a major Zurich law firm for four years.

Kurt Baumgartner speaks German, English and French. He is registered with the Berne Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland and is also admitted as Notary in Berne.
